What sample introduction options are available for the 200 Series GC?

The 200 Series comes with a split/splitless injector as standard. Split linearity is better than 3% up to 200:1, and the injector temperature range is 60 to 280°C. This covers the majority of liquid sample introduction requirements for routine GC work.

For applications where thermal degradation of the sample is a concern, an optional capillary on-column adaptor is available. A gas sampling valve is also available as an option for direct gas injection.

The 200 Series is compatible with Ellutia's autosampler range for automated sample introduction. The liquid autosampler range includes the EL3000A (121 vials), EL3100A (15 vials), and EL3200A (209 vials). For headspace work, the EL2000H (42 vials) and EL2100H (14 vials) are available. The EL2800T combines liquid, headspace, and SPME capability in one unit.

Autosampler choice depends on your sample type, throughput requirements, and available bench space. For labs running batches overnight or processing large sample sets, an autosampler reduces manual handling and improves consistency.
