How do I get my 7000 GC Flowmeter recalibrated?

Recalibration is recommended annually. A flowmeter that has drifted out of calibration gives inaccurate flow readings, which affects carrier gas settings and ultimately your GC results. Annual recalibration keeps your measurements UKAS-traceable and your results reliable.

How to check when recalibration is due

Your calibration certificate shows the date of the last calibration. Recalibration is due one year from that date. If you no longer have your certificate, contact info@ellutia.com with your flowmeter serial number and we can check our records.

How to request a recalibration

Complete the recalibration request form on the Ellutia website. You will need your flowmeter serial number and a return shipping address. Once we receive your details, we will confirm the expected turnaround time.

What happens during recalibration

Every recalibration is carried out at Ellutia's facility in Ely, UK. The flowmeter goes through a full 25-point recalibration to UKAS-traceable standards. A new calibration certificate is issued on completion.

If your flowmeter needs repair as well as recalibration, we will provide a separate quote before carrying out any additional work. No repair work is done without your approval.

Shipping

Pack your flowmeter securely and ship it to Ellutia using a tracked service. Return shipping within the UK is included in the recalibration price. International customers are responsible for shipping in both directions.
